End User License Agreement (EULA)
Please read this End User License Agreement ("Agreement" or "License") carefully before downloading, installing, or using the Pit Crew Hub software application ("Software") provided by the Pit Crew Hub development team ("we", "us", or "our").
By downloading, installing, accessing, or using the Software (including via the Microsoft Store, GitHub, or our website), you agree to be bound by the terms of this Agreement. If you do not agree to the terms of this Agreement, do not download, install, or use the Software.
1. Grant of License
Subject to the terms and conditions of this Agreement, Pit Crew Hub grants you a personal, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable, limited license to install and use the Software on devices that you own or control solely for personal, non-commercial sim racing telemetry analysis and entertainment purposes.
2. Restrictions on Use
You agree not to, and will not permit others to:
- Modify, translate, reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or derive the source code of any closed or binary portions of the Software, except to the extent permitted by applicable law or specific open-source licenses governing third-party libraries.
- Rent, lease, lend, sell, sublicense, distribute, or host the Software as a commercial service bureau.
- Bypass, alter, or tamper with any digital rights management, authentication, or security mechanisms protecting online leaderboards or cloud sync APIs.
- Use the Software or its connected services in any manner that impairs, overburdens, or disrupts the Pit Crew Hub servers or network infrastructure.
3. Gran Turismo® & Third-Party Trademark Disclaimer
Pit Crew Hub is an independent, community-driven sim racing utility. Gran Turismo, GT7, PlayStation, PS4, and PS5 are registered trademarks of Sony Interactive Entertainment Inc. and Polyphony Digital Inc.
Pit Crew Hub is not affiliated with, associated with, authorized by, endorsed by, or in any way officially connected with Sony Interactive Entertainment Inc., Polyphony Digital Inc., or any of their subsidiaries or affiliates. Telemetry data is decoded from standard local network UDP broadcasts emitted by the console.
4. Telemetry Data and Local Network Operation
The Software listens for and processes UDP network telemetry packets broadcast over your local area network (LAN) by your gaming console. You acknowledge that:
- Proper functionality requires your console and computer to reside on the same local subnet with appropriate firewall permissions for UDP ports 33739 and 33740.
- Local telemetry processing occurs entirely on your device and does not transmit raw driving inputs to remote servers unless you explicitly opt into community cloud lap sharing or Discord leaderboard integration.
5. Updates and Modifications
We may from time to time provide enhancements, bug fixes, patches, or updates to the Software. Such updates may be delivered automatically via the Microsoft Store or downloaded manually. This Agreement governs all updates unless accompanied by a separate license.
6. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED TO YOU "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITH ALL FAULTS AND DEFECTS, WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED UNDER APPLICABLE LAW, PIT CREW HUB AND ITS DEVELOPERS DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, STATUTORY, OR OTHERWISE, INCLUDING ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT, AND WARRANTIES THAT MAY ARISE OUT OF COURSE OF DEALING, COURSE OF PERFORMANCE, USAGE, OR TRADE PRACTICE.
7. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL PIT CREW HUB, ITS DEVELOPERS, OR CONTRIBUTORS BE LIABLE FOR ANY SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, INDIRECT, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES WHATSOEVER (INCLUDING DAMAGES FOR LOSS OF DATA, LOSS OF PROFITS, OR RACING/GAMING HARDWARE INTERFERENCE) ARISING OUT OF OR IN ANY WAY RELATED TO THE USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SOFTWARE.
8. Termination
This Agreement remains effective until terminated. Your rights under this Agreement will terminate automatically without notice if you fail to comply with any of its terms. Upon termination, you must cease all use of the Software and delete all copies from your devices.
